Overview

Simultaneous Dual-Band, Gigabit Ethernet

  • Note:
Estimated date of release is per Google Trends data.
Default hardware for the CeroWrt bufferbloat research project.
The AR7161 has a 32-bit MIPS 24K processor core.
The AR9220 is a 2.4GHz and 5GHz Dual-band radio, the AR9223 2.4GHz only.
  • Version 2 changes the board layout, replacing the 5 GHz onboard antennae with two Rayspan "meta-material" off board "patch" antennae.
Rayspan was liquidated by its investors and the Rayspan patents were purchased by Tyco Electronics in Q1 2011.
FCC exhibits show Rayspan antennae in 2010 Oct 05 filings, but not in earlier and later WNDR3700v2 filings.
