Overview
802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band wifi, Bluetooth 5, 802.15.4 tri-mode LGA module, QCA4020
DNSA-M20 is an intelligent low-power Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 tri-mode system on module (SoM) which is designed to provide interoperability among diverse Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices and cloud ecosystems for various applications such as smart cities, toys, home automation, control and security, appliances, home entertainment and intelligent building automation. The module combines dual-band 1x1 IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 based technologies including Zigbee and Thread. It's an ideal tri-mode intelligent connectivity solution with advanced smart coexistence and has advanced hardware-based security features to help improve device protection in ways not possible with just software. DNSA-M20 supports host interface for connecting to external MCU/CPU. In addition, the module can operate in hostless mode allowing OEMs to run small size application. This module delivers advanced features from the Qualcomm® Network IoT Connectivity Platform, including virtually seamless coexistence across technologies with pre-integrated support for HomeKit and the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) specifications, as well as support for AWS IoT software development kit (SDK) and for Microsoft Azure IoT Devices SDK to connect with Azure IoT Hub.
