450 Mbps - 3SS 5GHz 802.11n (40MHz chan.),
450 Mbps - 3SS 2.4GHz 802.11n (40MHz chan.) = AN900 class

Overview

The SoC used is from Applied Micro (??) (Cisco 1142 AP)

An IDT PCIe packet switch (IDT 89HPES3T3, link to IDT spec) is used to provide the usage of multiple PCIe devices on the single host IF provided by the SoC.

A C2PC made 07/01/2013 specifies...

  • The original wireless modules use AR9380 (2.4 GHz) and AR9390 (5 GHz).
  • These modules will be replaced with ones using AR9381 (2.4 GHz) and AR9380 (5 GHz).

The SoC is picky about PCIe configuration under OpenWrt; for example, for any QCA9880v2 module, you will need to add "ath10k_pci irq_mode=1" to /etc/modules.d/ath10k.
