Overview

This device looks to use a pair of switching IC.

They are not heatsinked and rely on passive airflow for cooling.

This switch is packaged as a 'desktop' formfactor unit.

This is to say that the power and network cables plug in on the opposite side of the indicator LEDs.

Hardware revision V1.0R of the TEG-S80g provides link-speed LEDs and a two mounting holes on the bottom.

Later revisions of TEG-S80g remove both these features.
This may be noteworthy to some, as evidenced by a handful of Amazon[1] and Newegg[2] reviewers.

Product details for the switching IC may be found on Realtek's website by searching the web for RTL8368MB, though the IC is labeled RTL8368S.

A webpage on Realtek's site describes the IC as a Layer 2 Managed 5+3-Port 10/100/1000M Switch Controller
Ports labeled 5 to 8 are connected to this IC.

Product details for the transceiver IC may be found on Realtek's website by searching the web for RTL8214B/FB, though the IC is labeled RTL8214.

A webpage on Realtek's site describes the IC as a Integrated 10/100/1000 Quad Gigabit Ethernet Transceiver.
Ports labeled 1 to 4 are connected to this IC.

From the package type used and the Green branding, it's probably sourced from Realtek.

Of note that ASIN and Newegg_ID links are presently for newer revision, evidenced by lower stated wattage (about half of the V1), and lack of link-speed LEDs in product photos.
