Overview

Specifications, per Amazon follow...

  • Screen
    • 6" diagonal E Ink display (optimized with proprietary waveform and font technology)
    • 600 x 800 pixel resolution at 167 ppi, 16-level gray scale
  • Dimensions: 190 mm x 123 mm x 8.5 mm
  • Weight: 241 g

From my dissected unit(s)...

  • "310-1047-02" is silkscreened on the board.
  • The FCC ID / IC ID varies.
    • One unit has a FCC ID of XSX-1013 (Eves LLC Grantee Code [Baltimore, MD]) - filed 06/11/2010.
      • Darker green PCB
    • Another unit has a FCC ID of (Foyer LLC Grantee Code [Albany, NY]) - filed 07/02/2010.
      • This would appear to be the 3G model's FCC ID.. but this particular model is not the 3G model.
      • Lighter green PCB
    • The IC ID of the earlier released unit is the later released one's number plus one. (Hmm..)
    • Both Grantee Codes used have only been used for these filings.
  • The battery used is a GP-S10-34692-0100 (Type: 170-1032-01 / 170-1032-01 Rev. A)
Li-ion Polymer, minimal capacity of 1750mAh (6.5Wh), nominal capacity of 1830mAh (6.8Wh)
