Timeline

  • Founded in 2001, does not produce Wi-Fi chipsets (no MAC/BB/PHY cores),
but offers some RFICs for use with 3rd-party Wi-Fi chipsets:
  • 2003 - Airoha announced 802.11bg RF Transceiver (AL2236) with embedded PA.
  • 2004 - Airoha announced 802.11abg RF Transceiver with embedded dual band PA.
  • 2005 - Airoha also introduced lowest power consumption 802.11bg RF Transceiver.
