Overview
"RT-AC88U REV 5.01" and "1517" is silkscreened on the board.
DFS certification and VHT80+80 support were added with a C2PC request on 3/6/2019.
- Actual support would probably need to come from a firmware update.
The first page of the DFS Test Report lists two manufacturers: Askey and Compal.
- Differences between the three models covered by this FCC certification
- are described in the DFS Test Report as follows:
Model No. | LAN Port | Heat sink color |
---|---|---|
RT-AC88U | 8 LAN ports | Silver, Red |
RT-AC3100 | 4 LAN ports | Silver, Black |
RT-AC88R | 8 LAN ports | Silver, Red |

The development branch can contain experimental code that is under active development and should not be used for production environments. Snapshot images may support additional hardware; however, it is experimental, considered unstable, and sometimes won't compile. |
Prebuilt snapshot images do not come with any web interface or GUI. You will need to be comfortable using a command line and remote shell to install one yourself → How to install LuCI |
