Overview
Device uses a Intel StrongARM SA-110 (part number 21281EB),
- Intel 21285AB, TI PCI bus PCI1225PDV for the PC Card
- controller, and NS DP83815CVNG for the ethernet controller.
The AP-2000 (with Lucent/Agere/Proxim's firmware)
- can function as a 802.11b access point using:
- an ORiNOCO PC Card or ORiNOCO PC Card (Ruby),
- an 802.11bg access point using a Proxim 8800-FC, and
- an 802.11a access point using an Agere PC50E-8-FC/A.
There is also an AS-I model. This model is limited to
- 8MB (2x Intel DA28F320J5) Flash and
- 16MB (2x Micron MT48LC4M16A2-8E) RAM.
It otherwise appears to be identical to the AS-2000.
