Overview
The AP has been resold under the following brands and names..
- Addtron AWS-100
- Cheetah WB3001A [1]
- Netcomm NP2000AP (Archived product page)
- SMC SMC2652W (Downloads), OUI 00:90:D1 (Ethernet or WLAN?)
- SMC SMC2682W (bridge, Downloads) [2]
- USRobotics USR2450 (Product page)
These devices could run OpenAP (Seattle Wireless), an open source firmware (the first) released by Instant802 Networks. The OpenAP website was originally http://opensource.instant802.com , then changed to http://opensource.devicescape.com/ , now defunct.
Manual on Teletronics' website, Bridge manual on bizarnet.ro
Default password from Eumitcom may be "WLAN_AP" for access point models and "WLAN_BRIDGE" for bridge models. Username may be "default" or "Default" (USR2450 manual specifies this one).
